  • We collect limited personal information (such as names, contact details, and educational information) solely for the purpose of connecting students with tutors.
     

  • All personal information is kept confidential and used only for communication, scheduling, and matching purposes.
     

  • We do not share or sell personal information to third parties unless required by law.
     

3. Independent Tutors

  • All tutors listed or referred through East Tutoring operate as independent contractors, not employees of East Tutoring.
     

  • While we carefully review and screen tutors, East Tutoring is not responsible for the actions, conduct, or performance of any tutor.
     

  • Any teaching methods, materials, or advice provided by tutors represent their own views and expertise, not necessarily those of East Tutoring.
     

4. Limitation of Liability

  • East Tutoring acts as an intermediary between students and tutors.
     

  • We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes or results.
     

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, East Tutoring is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from tutoring sessions, including but not limited to academic performance, scheduling issues, or interpersonal conflicts.
     

  • Parents and students are responsible for ensuring that sessions occur in safe and appropriate environments.
     

5. Payments & Cancellations

  • Payments made through East Tutoring are for booking and administrative facilitation only.
     

  • Cancellations must be made at least 6 hours before a scheduled session.
     

  • Cancellations made within 6 hours of the session start time may be charged in full.
     

  • Refunds and rescheduling are handled at the discretion of the tutor and East Tutoring management.
